Choosing a house for your Hamster

The cage should not have spaces more than 1 cm. It should have space for a comfortable bed, some place where your Hamster can burrow, ample room for food, water and toys.

Where to keep your Hamster
Since Hamsters are nocturnal creatures, they will be awake during night. Make sure to let them during the day time. Keep its habitat in a dark and airy place where there is minimum noise. To keep your Hamster healthy, it is very important they are having a sound sleep. Do not keep the Hamster’s cage near fire, strong smells, place where there is direct sunlight and place where ventilation is proper.
How to feed your Hamster
Never think that if the food bowl of your Hamster is empty, it requires to be refilled. You should feed it properly but do not assume it is always hungry. Give a tablespoon of pellets or seed mix per day. As a treat, give them fruits like grapes, raisins, a small piece of apple without seeds and a commercial snack can also be given.
